Arrowtown............
A short drive from Queenstown is one of my favourite places to walk around - Arrowtown. The town maintains its gold discovery heritage and the shops provide an interesting mixture of goodies plus the cafes and restaurants are extremely good.
A walk along the Arrow River that borders the back of the community is a must especially the old Chinese mining buildings that were home back in those early gold rush days..
