7 Day South Island Snow Safari Slopes
The South Island of New Zealand is known for a lot of things; the scenery, the friendly folks, the thrilling adventure activities and the awesome snow. There are a lot of world-class ski slopes in the South Island, which makes it a great place to visit for your next ski holiday.

Mt Hutt

The highest peak is 1,924 metres and there is a fun 400 metre vertical fall via ‘The Boulevard’ to the base of the mountain. It is a safe, wide ride for beginners that is just adventurous enough to get the blood pumping. Intermediates have plenty of choice with the zig-zag “Luge” and expert skiers will have their hands fall with the ‘Escalator’ and the ‘High Traverse’.

The one word that comes to mind when describing Treble Cone, is jaw-dropping. It is often referenced as one of the most beautiful scenic resorts in the world, sitting in the heart of the Southern Alps. It looks down across the charming lakeside town, Wanaka.
Treble Cone is the largest ski slope in the South Island. It is spread out over three large basins, and it has trails that are suitable for all abilities and ages. Their quad chairlift is the fastest in New Zealand, meaning you can pack in more runs per day than anywhere else in the country. The saddle quad chairlift offers the highest lift-accessed terrain and vertical drop in the whole of the South Island!
